Back in the game

So.  I arrived in Casablanca on Saturday, where my man was waiting to pick me up - we drove straight to Meknes despite original plans to stay the night in the city of dirt and pollution, with a small stop at the National Zoo in Rabat.

Allow me to say that I have never seen such sad circumstances.  Steve Irwin would be pissed, were he alive.  The bears were wallowing in shit and piss, the elephants looked sickly and dehydrated, and the squirrels and other oddities in tiny cages barely large enough for them to run themselves into crazy circles.  Dirty, rundown, and sad are only a few of the words I would use to describe it.  Pictures to come.  Anyone know any good animal activists or have any ideas that won't get me deported?

"Full House" has finally come to MBC4 and let me just say that I can now rest easy.  I got really excited for a minute when the commercial came on, because it advertised for another show and showed Bill Cosby, but sadly it was his failed endeavor, "Cosby," the...spin-off?  I don't think that's the right term.  Who knows?

There are new teachers at my school, both of whom seem personable, no one has left, little else has changed.  Domino's Pizza still hasn't made an appearance in Meknes from what I can tell.  But I finally figured out how to make fettucini alfredo, so that's cool.

Little else to say as of yet.  Ramadan Mubarak.
