pics!
Just wanted to let you all know that I'm posting some of my zanzibar pics on the flickr site! It was a long time ago now (July/August) and I so wish I could be back there lying in the powder white sand.... the coconut rice was to die for. There was this one little restaurant on the beach that looked like nothing. We had to order our meals in the morning for the evening. We sat under this simple shelter with our feet in the sand but the food was some of the best I've EVER eaten. Wonderful spicy (but not too hot) curries, fresh chapatis, coconut rice. I was told by the non-vegetarians that the fish was incredible too! Rwandan melange just isn't even in the same league.
